Hardware reset Blackberry Pearl

If you want to perform a hard reset or wipe out the entire data in your BlackBerry Pearl, perform the steps as provided in the following section. However, before you perform those steps, please note that hard resetting your BlackBerry Pearl will erase all data in your device and revert it to factory settings. Make sure you performe a full backup before or you will lose your data.

Now that you are aware of what you will be performing, here are the steps:

1. On your BlackBerry Pearl, go to Options

2. Select Security Options

3. Select General Settings

4. Press the button located left of the trackball

5. Finally, select Wipe Handheld
